During our travels on Saturday we passed this sign and solved a long standing mystery in male-female relations. If you can read the sign you will note that it reads "Piste Touristique du Point G" or, loosely translated "Scenic route to the G-spot."

Long sought and seldom found, this mythical place seems to be located in the hills around Mali. So men around the world can take heart - their vain efforts to find it in the first place were pretty much doomed to fail given that it's in Mali, but, now we know where it is!

Let me get this straight. David goes off on assignment and finds ... heat ... cold beer ... caged animals ... and the G-spot!? Am I the only one wondering what our Forces are doing out there?
I could say something about his non-functioning batteries, but I won't!

p.s. leave it to men to aimlessly WANDER THE EARTH instead of just breaking down and asking for directions. Sheesh.
Touché on the directions! It is always better to ask. We are winding up o the first course tomorrow and I will have a bit of time off between then and departure. It looks like I won't be able to get to Timbuktu, but should get to see the Djenne mosque and the Dogon country.
